Floor Plan Development

Based on your input, I develop up to five different floor plan variants for you.

Together, we discuss the pros and cons of all floor plans and select the optimal layout.

Furniture, Wall & Floor Design, Lighting

Based on the workshop data or provided information, I create up to three different object, color, and material variants for each element and develop a matching lighting concept.

We discuss the options in detail, identifying what you like and checking your wishes against the established design goals.

3D Visualization

I create photorealistic 3D visualizations (up to four images) featuring the selected objects in the space.

We review the 3D renders and verify the results. If you wish to try a different approach in 3D, two revisions are included (up to one hour of work each).

Service Highlights

Interior design home renovation work is planning-led: the decisions that matter are taken before the first wall comes down. A home renovation plan sets the sequence — structure, services, surfaces, furniture — so trades arrive in the right order and nothing is opened twice. Home interior renovation projects overrun for one dominant reason, which is design still being decided while work is already underway. The concept phase exists to prevent exactly that, and it is the phase most often skipped by people trying to save money.

A home renovation plan covers layout changes, electrical and lighting positions, materials and finishes room by room, and the furniture that has to be ordered against a lead time. Interior design home renovation planning also fixes what becomes invisible later and expensive to change: socket heights, switch positions, the depth of a niche, whether a radiator moves. These are the decisions that make a finished room feel considered rather than improvised, and none of them can be taken well once the drywall is closed.

This is a planning service, not a contracting one. Home interior renovation execution stays with your trades and your builder; what you receive here is the concept, the drawings they work from, and the decisions made in advance rather than on site. That separation keeps the design independent of whoever is quoting for the work. The plan serves the room, not the margin of the company building it — which is precisely why it is worth having before the tenders go out.

You need the interior design before the builders, not after them. Design decides what gets built; construction executes it. Bringing an interior designer in after trades are booked means the design is still being resolved while work is underway, which is the single most common cause of a renovation overrunning on both cost and time. A concept fixed in advance sets the layout, the services positions and the finish schedule, so quotations are comparable, the sequence is right, and no wall is opened twice for something that could have been foreseen.

A home renovation plan should cover layout changes with dimensions, electrical and lighting positions including switch heights and socket counts, materials and finishes specified room by room, sanitary and kitchen appliance positions, and the furniture that carries a delivery lead time. It should also record the decisions that become invisible and expensive later: niche depths, whether a radiator moves, floor build-up and transitions between materials. Anything left unspecified is settled at the moment it arises, by the trade doing that piece of work, which is how renovations acquire details nobody chose.

When the builder only builds, the planning role belongs to an interior designer or architect engaged separately. That separation is a feature rather than an inconvenience: a plan produced independently serves the room, while a plan produced by the company quoting for the work serves the quotation. An independent concept also makes tenders comparable, because every contractor prices the same defined scope instead of their own interpretation of a conversation. Execution stays with the trades; the design, the drawings and the decisions stay with you.
